It would be strange if each US city, town, and county didn’t have a good, common description and system for helping leaders and stakeholders understand and interface with strategy, strategic management, and innovation with a corresponding mindset of Sustainable Value Creation. Rather than just how local governments work; entrepreneurs as well as the leadership of education, healthcare, faith centers, and other nonprofits need to do strategy and innovation in competitive ways… and that Way paradoxically links back to Sustainable Value Creation for the common municipality and common outcomes they share. It’s not socialism exactly; but sustainability is about some version of continuously improving public good. What is that ‘Sustainable America Machine’ today where each municipality is better networked to each other? The US Government is part of that; so quality governance definitely matters.
